The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has sought and acquired shooting ranges throughout the country for TSA agents to fire up to half a million rounds of ammo at each facility and to practice at ranges with separate entrances so that they can be hidden from the public. The contracts sought ranges located within short driving distances of major airports in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta. The agency will practice "tactical move and shoot drills" at shooting ranges "concealed from the public." They will be using 9mm, .40, and .357 caliber ammunition - allowing shooters to "draw and fire from the holster and from concealment." The dollar value of each contract was nearly half a million dollars.

The solicitations and contract details were first posted at the U.S. Government's Federal Business Opportunities website [FedBizOpps.gov]. The FBO website allows users to "search more than 39,300 active federal opportunites" and notes "No login is required to view opportunities. Vendors and citizens may search, monitor, and retrieve opportunities. Government users may post, manage, and award opportunities."

The proposed 'Firing Range Service' in New York required accommodation of 24 shooters at a time to practice "tactical move and shoot drills" using 9mm, .40, and .357 caliber ammunition- allowing shooters to "draw and fire from the holster and from concealment." The Contract Award Date was August 21, 2014, and the dollar value of this contract was $480,000.00.

The notice stated, in part,

"The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a requirement for a firearms range to conduct mandatory quarterly qualifications and other firearms training. NOTE: THE RANGE MUST BE AN ESTABLSIHED RANGE; THIS IS NOT A REQUEST TO BUILD A RANGE. The range shall be within a 20 mile radius of the New York LaGuardia Airport. Furthermore, the range must be in a location that can be accessed by vehicle from the New York LaGuardia Airport without crossing a bridge and/or incurring a toll.

The proposed range must meet the following additional standards to qualify for consideration:

Further details on the New York contract can be seen at the very bottom of this page. [See also: NEW YORK Solicitation.]

The Atlanta contract for a TSA firing range anticipated services beginning in August 2014 and noted "This range must be closed or concealed from the public during the corresponding hours." The solicitation stated, in part,
"The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a requirement for a firearms range to conduct mandatory quarterly qualifications and other firearms training. NOTE: THE RANGE MUST BE AN ESTABLISHED RANGE; THIS IS NOT A REQUEST TO BUILD A RANGE. The range shall be within a 30 mile radius of the Atlanta International Airport. The proposed range must meet the following standards to qualify for consideration: DHS will provide all ammunition, targets, and firearms, and certified firearms instructors. The range time must be available exclusively to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) during the hours indicated below. The range must be closed to the public during the corresponding hours and the hours for use should be scheduled. The range should be indoor, must possess a minimum of 20 firing points, and must be able to accommodate a qualification course distance minimum of 1.5 yards and a maximum of 25 yards. The range shall provide barricades, or allow the storage of 20 agency provided barricades... The range shall provide sufficient trash receptacles for used targets, target backings, and empty ammunition boxes. DHS personnel shall be responsible for collection and removal of used brass cartridges. The range shall provide adequate on-site parking to accommodate 30 vehicles. The range must possess an on-site classroom facility with chalkboard or dry erase board, computer, and overhead projector and seating to accommodate 30 students. The range must be able to accommodate the following: 9mm, .40, .357 caliber ammunition. The range must allow movement between firing points and shall not restrict movement-oriented firearms training by students (i.e. standing to kneeling transitions). The range rules shall allow shooters to draw and fire from the holster. The range rules cannot disallow a student from moving in front of the firing points with an instructor present, (i.e. tactical move and shoot type drills where instructor/student ratio would be too restrictive).

DHS personnel will use the range utilizing approximately 300,000 rounds to be shot during requirement timeframe. The proposal set forth shall price 44 training days per year. Pricing shall be submitted on a daily basis. The contractor will be paid per the actual number of days used. This range must be closed or concealed from the public during the corresponding hours. Under this contract, DHS requires exclusive use of at least a portion of the range from 0800-1500 hours. This does not include weekends or federal holidays.

The Los Angeles, CA Firing Range Service Solicitation listed similar requirements and the contract was awarded on July 24, 2014 to 'Harbor Area Range FUnd,' 2981 N. Gaffey St. San Pedro, California. A listing reveals that address as the home of the 'San Pedro Police Pistol Range.'

The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport reportedly has it's own firing range, which is hidden from the public in the woods on the west side of the airport. The airport also has it's own police department, fire department, and ambulance/EMT department, as well has having a huge post office and it's own ZIP code, 75261. The personnel are cross-trained and rotate between all three departments. The TSA is reportedly "looked down upon by the airport "regulars" and are treated like red-headed step-children." It's unconfirmed whether or not the TSA are using the DFW firing range at the present time. Questions regarding DFW Airport can be directed by e-mail to AirportInfoCenter@dfwairport.com or by calling 972-973-3112.

Lest any na´ve Americans think that the government wouldn't open fire on innocent citizens, there is a long proven and admitted track record of just such atrocities. Less than 80 years ago the U.S. Government supplied 10 Million rounds of ammunition, 10,000 Enfield Rifles, military planes & tanks to Slaughter tens of thousands of Catholic Freedom Fighters in Mexico when Catholics were defending themselves from the Masonic-led Mexican government.

The U.S. ambassador to Mexico Dwight W. Morrow sent a memo to the U.S. State Department in May, 1929, noting "The commercial and financial situation is now at its worst; there is virtually a moratorium as far as the payment of debts are concerned... Unless the Mexican government is able to exterminate the marauding bands of 'Cristeros' which infest the surrounding country, or come to some agreement with the Church whereby religious services may be resumed, the possibility of a return to normal conditions is very remote." Mexican Lieutenant Colonel Rodolfo Tostado Loaiza boasted about this U.S. equipment in a March 25, 1929 telegram, stating "I have the honor to communicate to you that our war planes launched an energetic military action against the traitors that are concentrated in the city of Jimenez, bombing and machine-gunning them successfully. The panic that took place among them was enormous."

On Thursday, April 29, 1920, The United States Senate Subcommittee on Foreign Relations heard Testimony taken at Washington D.C. Among the many people who testified were Fr. Francis P. Joyce, a Captain and Chaplain in the United States Army. Father Joyce testified of his visit to John R. Silliman, personal representative of President Wilson to Carranza: "I visited him in the office of Consul Canada, and asked that he take it up with the State Department and obtain a boat to ship those people out of the country. He then stood up and said, "It is generally admitted by everybody that the worst thing in Mexico, next to prostitution, is the Catholic Church, and both must go." Fr. Joyce also testified about how the U.S. Government refused all help for the refugees and noted "When the Americans evacuated Vera Cruz, I understood that more than 400 of the sisters were left behind. Afterward I was told that Carranza and Villa's army tried to have one prostitute to every four soldiers, and that many of these sisters were impressed as camp followers for Carranza's army..."

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is already on record describing Christians, conservatives, pro-lifers, gun-owners, libertarians, 9/11 truthers, and those with traditional values as "terrorists."
