A female Los Angeles area activist and independent journalist who goes by the name "Lissa Bissa" was reportedly arrested for filming police Friday night in West Hollywood, and remains jailed today. The woman's friends and associates on Facebook and Twitter reported that she had been 'cop watching' when police arrested and handcuffed her, along with another person. Her friends on social media continue to give periodic updates on her situation when available. Lissa's Twitter account is here.

'AlexFidelforMayor' posted on Facebook, "On Friday night around midnight, independent journalist Lissa Bissa, was arrested as she filmed police from across the street. We are currently unable to find her in the system. She spoke to someone by phone form jail last night and expressed that she does not want bail, she is refusing to eat the disgusting food, and she wants the info that she was arrested blasted out. Another person was arrested with her and has been released." About an hour ago, Alex tweeted "A friend of mine was kidnapped by the LAPD and they are not listing her in the system. #FreeLissa".
