In a shocking development, Retired Congressman and perennial presidential candidate Ron Paul has dropped an astounding bombshell on the Sean Hannity show.

HANNITY: First of all, before you say what I think you're going to say, did you check in with your Senator son - the presidential candidate - who I guess everyone is telling him to give it up, drop out of the race?

PAUL: Well, you know, my first choice had always been my son. He campaigned for me when he was eleven years old, as Rand always says. He's still my first pick. But, you know, now that it's clearly game over for Rand, tonight, I'm happy to announce that I'm going to be supporting Donald Trump.

HANNITY: Look, if you didn't support your nappy-haired son, by the way, I mean I would really question family loyalty there, and I think it was totally understandable. And I know you love and you respect your son. I agree with your son on many issues, especially on the Jews and Israel. By the way, Ron, I have no idea why you stayed mad at me and rejected coming on this program for so long, just because I called you and your supporters nuts repeatedly. But that's a whole different story for another day. Tell me why you are supporting Don Trump?

PAUL: "You know, I think it's interesting that Donald Trump and I actually have quite a few similarities. Trump has endorsed politicians before. He endorsed Netanyahu for Prime Minister. So he supported a Jew toady, just like I supported Jew toady Rand. Trump then went on to support the winner, Bibi, and that's what I'm doing today. I want to support a winner, so I'm trumping for Trump. The same way Rand supported Romney. Trump comes from a big family. I don't know them that well, I mean they party with the Clintons, not me, but I think it's a big, loving family. So do I, I have a family with five kids. And one heck of a grandson-in-law! Trump has some kids. He's had several long and happy marriages, like mine and Carol's. I think we have a lot of the same family values, and trust and feeling of the importance of the family unit, and so that I think draws a kinship between our families."

"He also doesn't like vaccines or Monsanto GMO frankenfoods, which is outstanding."

"But I met with him recently - I had about a 30-minute meeting with him. He was nice enough to meet with me at one of his casinos when he was in town recently, and we talked about a lot of issues. It was a free-ranging discussion, and we talked about issues that are important to me and important to my son and to many of his followers. And many of these, you know, Donald Trump has already taken a position on. One of the big issues for our supporters, for myself and for my son is auditing the Fed. Well actually, Rand has said that he wants to make the fed more effective. But anyway. We think there needs to be more transparency to the Fed and more oversight by Congress, and this is something that Donald Trump was supportive of throughout his campaign and also was supportive of in private to me. We talked about other issues that are important to my son's follower. My son has a legion of young followers some paid followers and creepy PR goons who are on the internet, and they think they rule the internet. Maybe they do, maybe they don't, but they're very concerned about the freedom of the internet. There's been legislation recently that Donald Trump came out and was opposed to, this SOPA, which would take away some of the process of ownership on the Internet, and we were very afraid that it would limit Internet freedom. Donald Trump's right there with us on those issues also. He has one hell of a Twitter following, so I know that he's all for the internet. So I think there is a lot of kinship on those issues.

"Also, truth be told, Rand and I disagree on a number of things. Bradley Jenner, I mean Manning, the Confederate flag (I love it, Rand says it's a "symbol of murder!) and Palestine. I wonder why they're never mentioned while Rand demonizes them with Jewish billionaires! I think there's been too many Palestinians killed while Rand thinks they're the ones doing the killing.. It's all a bit too much. It's Trump time."

"Another big issue for me is the border. Although I've said in the past that Trump is an authoritarian, and that border walls are tyrannical, I am the chief sponsor of the idea of securing the border. And I think we've got so much over regulation now - that any gaping hole in the border that can allow 100 million illegals in should have to be shut down. Donald Trump's right there with me on that issue. He wants to make America great again. Who could be against that?! So I think we have a lot in common and a lot of things to fight together on."

DISCLAIMER: In case you're retarded, this is SATIRE. Please Ron, don't sue me like you unsuccessfully tried to sue the youtube user who made fun of Romney's religion during your 2012 campaign! [Judge: Ron Paul Can't Ask YouTube, Twitter to Expose 'Impostors'

The Ron Paul Bumper Sticker Is Still On My Car (Tearjerker tribute vid ;-)
Just for fun. This is a vid I made in 2008 after his campaign ended."remember the good times. A tribute to Dr. Paul and all his supporters who fight for freedom. Keep up the good work everyone!"
Several people at the time told me that this made them cry. ;-)
(BEAUTIFUL LOSER/ I WILL REMEMBER YOU')

[The background story of the video, and my introduction to Ron Paul (from my dad when I was a kid) , along with my dad and my trip to the first Ron Paul meet-up in Pasadena, California - a meeting which was featured in the New York Times (they falsely mis-characterized the entire meeting by the way, and claimed that there were a bunch of jew haters there when none of that is true! No one even mentoned Jews at that meeting.) is here.

HANNITY: First of all, before you say what I think you're going to say, did you check in with your congressman father - presidential candidate who I guess officially finally dropped out of the race?

PAUL: Well, you know, my first choice had always been my father. I campaigned for him when I was eleven years old. He's still my first pick. But, you know, now that the nominating process is over, tonight, I'm happy to announce that I'm going to be supporting Governor Romney.

HANNITY: Look, if you didn't support your father, by the way, I mean I would really question family loyalty there, and I think it was totally understandable. And I know you love and you respect your dad. I agree with your dad on many issues. I have no idea why he is still mad at me and rejects coming on this program, but that's a whole different story for another day. Tell me why you are supporting Gov. Romney?

PAUL: You know, I think it's interesting that Gov. Romney and I actually have quite a few similarities. Gov. Romney's dad ran for president and was unsuccessful. Gov. Romney then went on to support the nominee, the same way his dad did. Gov. Romney comes from a big family. I don't know them that well, but I think it's a big, loving family. So do I, I come from a family with five kids. Gov. Romney has five kids. He's had a long and happy marriage, so have my parents. I think we have a lot of the same family values, and trust and feeling of the importance of the family unit, and so that I think draws a kinship between our families.

But I met with him recently - I had about a 30-minute meeting with him. He was nice enough to meet with me when he was in Washington recently, and we talked about a lot of issues. It was a free-ranging discussion, and we talked about issues that are important to me and important to my dad and to many of his followers. And many of these, you know, Gov. Romney's right there with us on those issues also. So I think there is a lot of kinship on those issues.

Another big issue for me is the REINS Act. I am the chief sponsor in the Senate on a bill that would say that any major regulation - and I think we've got so much over regulation now -that any major rule or regulation that would cost the economy over $100 million should have to come back and be voted on in Congress. Gov. Romney's right there with me on that issue. So I think we have a lot in common and a lot of things to fight together on.
